Commercial support is considered in the same infrastructure context as the editorial desk.
Transparency

Commercial support stays labeled.

Relevant tools can support a useful infrastructure desk without changing its evidence grammar.

What fits

Registrars, hosting providers, DNS services, email platforms, observability tools, security products, books, courses and events may fit when they are relevant to the site’s coverage. Commercial material must be visibly labeled near the placement and listed in the inventory.

What does not change

A sponsor cannot select a measurement result, remove a source cue, suppress a correction or require the desk to call a feature a guarantee. Editorial pages keep their own dates, sources and limits.

Commercial separation

Relevant registrars, hosts, software, security services and educational products may support the publication when clearly labeled. A sponsor cannot choose a source cue, suppress a correction or change a measurement result.
